To simplify this transition, address concerns regarding our distribution branches in TDF gerrit, and migrate to self-hosted FOSS utilities, we're establishing our own gerrit to maintain our existing core branch, with further information about git functionality available. Participation will require generating a new system account and temporary disruption during CI system migration. We'll maintain contributions to LibreOffice when appropriate (if permitted), but clearly substantial investment in developing TDF's remaining community and product for them – while excluded from decision-making – no longer proves sensible. In this respect, we appear to have returned to our position fifteen years prior. Meanwhile TDF continues employing developers, markets LibreOffice and increasingly functions as a staff-managed collective rather than a Free Software initiative.
